Artbooking in August #4

Welcome to Week #4 of the Artbooking in August Blog Hop. Last week's artwork was so phenomenal and this week over 35 creative consultants are at it again!

Our challenge was to create 4 different projects using the Cricut Artbooking cartridge and any CTMH paper pack.  Our mission was to design each of the following:

1. 2 page layout
2. Card
3. Mini Book
4. Home decor or 'giftable' item

We were able to choose what to make and when to post it. AND if we wanted to add stamps to their designs, even better.  This week we will add another great design to the challenge and I am anxious to see what everyone has created!

Remember this is a circular blog hop and if you get lost or confused along the way, the list is posted on Adeline's blog here.

If you have come here from Jean's blog, Stampin' Maui you are in the right place.

This week, I took my daughter and one of her best friends out for a fun photo shoot.  I then made a mini album from the Artbooking cartridge, a variety of stamps, the Black Mini-Medleys, shimmer trim and the fun photos I got.  I used Champagne, Black and Cranberry Cardstock throughout the album.

To make this mini album, I primarily used 2 Artbooking pages (3 and 4) and everything from those pages was cut out at 8".  Artbooking makes figuring out sizes easy.  To make this mini album, anything cut out at 8" in Artbooking will correspond in size with this album.  Artbooking takes the guesswork out of it.

Cover:

I did already have the notebook paper die cut.
It was cut on real dial size to the size that corresponds with the stamp set that coordinates with it.
I added the stamping in Slate ink for the notebook paper behind the photo and Click It title.
The stamp set was Take Note and comes in the Artbooking Bundle.

Page 1 & 2:

The stamp on the frame on Page 1 comes from the Designed Decor Frame Kit.
The BFF die cut comes from page 70 in the Artbooking Handbook.
The sequins comes from the Black Mini-Medley kit.
On Page 2, the U is stamped in Champagne pigment ink and comes from the Framework Alphabet.
The notebook paper die cut was done the same way as the one on the cover.
I also used Black and Silver Shimmer Trim.

Page 3 & 4:

The sequins is once again from the Black Mini-Medley kit.

Page 5 & 6:

On page 5, the stamps are once again from the Designed Decor Frame kit
The button is from the Black Mini-Medley kit and I used Silver Shimmer Trim.
On page 6, I used a card from the My Crush Besties Assortment to add the girls' initials on with the Framework Alphabet
All other embellishments were cut from Artbooking Cricut Cartridge.

Pages 7 & 8:

Page 7 and 8 have some Silver Shimmer Trim and a button and sequins from the Black Mini-Medley kit.
Page 8 also features the stamp set Paisley Perfect for the sentiment.

I absolutely love how easy it is to make such a beautiful album with the Artbooking Cricut Cartridge Bundle!

Thanks for stopping by!  Be sure to continue hopping over to Vickie's blog, Heartful Stamper, to see what fabulous creation she has to inspire you with!  Have a crafty day!

    1. Yes, me too! I love it and found it easier to create around the photos rather than trying to fit the photos to it. Thanks! :)
