February Stamp of the Month Blog Hop: Piece of Cake

It's time for our February Stamp of the Month Blog Hop.
This month we have over 70 Close to My Heart Consultants sharing their creations with you.
If you have come here from Sylvia's blog, you are on the right track.
If you get lost along the way, check my previous post.  It has the whole blog list for you.

Our Stamp of the Month is Piece of Cake.

You can purchase this stamp set during the month of February and even have the opportunity to earn it at a discounted price or even get it it for free.  Check with your CTMH consultant for details.  Don't have a consultant?  Feel free to click here.

I had a lot of fun with this stamp set.  I created a Valentine's Day card with this stamp set.  I was inspired by our Wishes book and our newest Constant Campaign: Hearts for Haiti.

The technique for distressing the textured cardstock was the same as on page 100 in Wishes.  I used my stipple brush from my distressing kit and cocoa reinker.  I dipped my brush into the reinker and brushed off the excess reinker.  I then wiped my stipple brush towards the edges of my textured cardstock, creating the distressed look on the edges of my cardstock.

Supplies used (all Close to My Heart):
 (p. 100) Pattern: Top Band
(the lighter brown is the backside of the Cocoa Textured CS)

I hope you enjoyed what I have done with this wonderful stamp set.  Make sure you stop at our next stop on the Blog Hop, Dawn's Blog, to see her wonderful creations.
