Welcome to the 1st Artbooking in August blog hop. So glad you joined us!
We have approximately 40 CTMH Consultants ready to wow you with their creations and inspiration!
And we hope you will come back each week in August to see new artwork, created with the
CTMH Cricut Artbooking Cartridge.
If you want to see the list of all the bloggers in the blog hop, hop on over to
or just follow along and go in a big circle until you come back here.
If you were already hopping, you should have come from
Jean's blog at Stampin' Maui
and seen her beautiful creation.
On with the hop.
Today, I am sharing a 2 page layout created exclusively using the
B page of the cartridge.
This is what the handbook page looks like:
The fabulous part of this cartridge is that everything is perfectly sized for what is shown.
All elements that I cut out for this 2 page layout were cut out at the 11" that it shows on the photo.
And they are perfectly proportioned.
No fussing with sizes or trying to figure out what size to make an element on a page.
The guesswork is all done for you.
Here's my layout:
Supplies used:
and
OR
Huntington WOTG kit (has both paper and assortment included)
To cut the leaves, I cut the overlay key 3 times.
I cut it in the Cocoa CS (found in the paper pack) and then in 2 of the patterned papers (also in the paper pack). Another idea for the leaves would be to fill them with glitz glitter gel to add a lot of color and shimmer to the tree.
I then paper pieced it together. It didn't take too long and I really like the effect the patterned paper adds.
Once I cut everything with Artbooking, I just put it all together and put it on my page.
The whole layout took under 30 minutes to create and much of that was deciding what papers and cardstock to use and arranging the embellishments from the assortment pack.
And I have a fabulous ready-made layout for this fall.
Thanks for looking and now it's time for your next stop on the blog hop.
Be sure to check out the fabulous artwork that
Vickie created on her blog at Heartful Stamper.
Enjoy the rest of the hop!
