July SOTM Blog Hop: Live Out Loud

I really love the July Stamp of the Month: Live Out Loud...

I wanted to make some cards using some sketches that I had found by Nichole Heady. 

Sketch #1

Using our fabulous double sided paper, I was able to cut the red double sided paper and fold back the edges to have a strip of the comic strip design peeking through.

Supplies used (all CTMH):

Superhero paper pack

Live Out Loud:July SOTM

Archival Black ink pad

Moonstruck marker

Licorice opaques

On my next card, I based it off of this sketch:

I was able to keep the card pretty simple to make, thanks to the addition of the zip strip across the top.

Sponge dauber (to ink edges)

And then I made this final card from this sketch and inspiration:

I simply cut the Typeset paper and once again used the zip strip in place of a ribbon.

I also inked all the edges of my papers.
