For this month's project, I decided to make a card that has some embossing and sponging.
I based it off of Sketch 215 from Mojo Monday
For the background, I clear embossed a stamp from Friendship Bouquet in a random stamping pattern.
I used chocolate ink for the centers and sunflower ink for the petals and sponged the color onto the embossed image for the softer look and shading (the sunflower ink is deeper near the centers of the flowers and lighter on the ends of the petals and in between flowers)
For the sentiment, I stamped the sentiment from Friendship Bouquet in Chocolate ink onto Colonial White cardstock. I then sponged on the top of the sentiment with Chocolate.
Inside of the card:
The flowers were stamped in second generation Chocolate ink (where you stamp the image on a scrap paper and then stamp the image a second time on your project without reinking).
They were then lightly sponged with Chocolate and Sunflower inks.
Supplies used (all CTMH unless stated):
Friendship Bouquet Stamp Set (May SOTM)
Chocolate and Colonial White Cardstock
Chocolate and Sunflower Ink Pads
Clear Embossing Powder
Dark Chocolate Striped Grosgrain Ribbon
3D Foam Tape
Not CTMH:
Make up wedge for sponging (all for a soft blending)
